Small Groups- Spring 2008

Small groups are a vital part of what we do at RUF Ole Miss. Let me encouage you that ANY of these groups are mostly open (other than the gender specific ones) to anyone that wants to attend. Especially the Greek House studies, please know that if you are in the area (before or after a class perhaps) and want to attend one of these, you are more than welcome. And, as always, if you have any questions about these, email Les.

SUNDAY

Sunday Night Fellowship Groups - this semester we have officially launched some informal gatherings on Sunday nights for prayer, discussion, and mutual encouragement. For more information about them, click here. If you are interested in leading one of these groups, Les would love to talk to you about it and see if it might be something for you to partner with him in this new outreach in RUF.

Freshman Girls- 8:00 on Sunday nights in Martin Rm 718.  We’ll be going through Colossians, led by Lauren Babbitt.

MONDAY
Senior and Junior Girls- meets at Anna McDowell's place right behind the Chevron at Four Corners at 4pm.

TUESDAY

Sigma Chi- 12noon in the lounge- led by Les Newsom

Freshman Bible Study (freshman only)- 3:30-4:40p, Union Fourth Floor (room varies, watch for signs)-  Les Newsom, Sam Taaffe, or Lauren Babbitt leading.

Ligonier Conference Study- Defending the Faith study – 7:00pm – Everyone is welcome. We will be watching videos from a conference that dealt with Christianity in postmodern world. If you don’t know what postmodernism is but would like to be able to better defend your faith when others ask (I Peter 3:15), you are more than welcome to come explore these issues with us. We will have food, watch the videos, and then just hang out and discuss afterward. The study will meet at Lindsay Blaire Beeman’s house – 165 Eagle Point Loop. Putting the Amazing Back into Grace Book Study - 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Sam Taaffe's House. Led by Sam Taaffe and Lauren Babbitt.

Delta Gamma- 3pm in the parlour- led by Les Newsom.

Tridelt- 4pm in the parlour- led by Les Newsom

THURSDAY

Delta Psi - 12noon in the lounge- led by Les Newsom.

Sophomores- open to guys and girls, this study meets at Cali Larson's apartment in Campus Creek at 3pm- Les Newsom leading.

Freshman Guys - 6:30 PM in 2nd floor of Stockard.  Come for a study through Mark, led by Sam Taaffe

Small Groups are forming informally all semester long, so keep checking back as we update this list. In the meantime, find some place that you are interested in and get involved!
