Publicity Team

Purpose: to increase the awareness and visibility of RUF on campus NOT to students only, but to area churches, faculty, administration, and missions conferences abroad.

Suggested Responsibilities

• Develop phone list for those attending the first three weeks of RUF in the Fall.
• Oversee design and sale of t-shirts for RUF events each year.
• Develop and place flyers and posters in visible spots around campus for visibility during the first weeks of school (also, check to see if they stay up mid way through each semester and replace them if necessary).
• Get RUF announced at each Greek house supper at the first of each semester.
• Ask a student to be the “RUF photographer” for the year to take pictures (using campus minister’s camera, if necessary) of all events (large group, activities, conferences, etc.).  This includes posting those pictures up on the RUF Website (any user can do it with Internet Explorer and a password from the campus minister).
• Promote retreats and conferences.
• Assist and accompany (when possible) campus minister in numerous missions conferences both locally and abroad.
• Help organize Parent’s Breakfast in the Fall of each year at high attendance football game.
