Me? Missions? Are you kidding?
Well, actually...no, we're not. There are few other times in your life when getting involved in seeing God's Kingdom spread beyond the borders of this American Sod will be easier for you than when you are in college. Therefore, we have started this page for those of you who are curious to see what God might have in store for those with the willingness to travel away from home and country and see the world through different eyes.
Most of the below mentioned opportunites are available for current students, alumni, or even parents. So look into it, get in touch with us here, and see what God might have in store!
MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES!
We have some extraordinary missions opportunities available for fall 2009 in Romania and Malawi. Mission To The World - ROMANIA
Ed and Emily Hartman, along with their team from Mission to the World (MTW) are church-planting missionaries in Codlea, Romania. They are in need of a high school teacher this fall. If you are interested in this opportunity, feel free to contact the Hartmans at: MTWRomania@yahoo.com or contact Sam or Lauren. RUF Ole Miss had the opportunity to serve with this team over spring break and had an amazing experience (you can see photos from the trip on the right side of this webpage or by clicking here)! RUF AND THE AFRICAN BIBLE COLLEGE
On April 8th, RUF will have a special guest speaker. Rev. Paul Chinchen is the director of the African Bible College in Malawi, Africa and also a good friend of mine from seminary. Paul is coming to RUF to recruit teachers to come and teach this Fall in their early education program (K-3rd) in Malawi. It is a great program that they have going on there and this is a GREAT opportunity for some of you without plans for the Fall.
