Mercy Ministry Team

Purpose: to look for unique ministry opportunities and organize ways to meet those needs by incorporating students to get involved in the physical deeds of mercy. This ministry is so vital to what we do, it has it's own page.

Suggested Responsibilities

• Keep a running list of mercy opportunities in the Lafayette Country area and abroad. Keep these needs before the group at large.
• Organize at least one large outing a semester where RUF at large can participate (Habitat for Humanity, work day, Xmas Caroling at Graceland Retirement Center, clean up day at battered women shelter, etc.)
• Take up offering at conferences for scholarships.
• Write thank you notes to individuals for donation to RUF, speakers, or special visitors as campus minister directs.
