Fall Conference 2008
Well, this year in RUF Ole Miss, we have a real treat in store for our annual Fall Conference. Bryan Chapell is the President of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. Bryan is a true leader among Reformed Evangelical scholars in America today as well as being an extraordinarily gifted communicator. Bryan is going to be our speaker at this conference!So this is a CAN'T MISS event for us here at Ole MIss. It is going to be a GREAT weekend for all who attend and a great chance to get to know some of the other folks from RUF's around our area.
- WHO- any and all RUF Ole Miss students. Joining us will be students from The University of Memphis, Rhodes College, Middle TN State University, University of Arkansas, Belmont University and others.
- WHEN- the dates are Friday, October 10 through Sunday, October 12. This is the weekend right BEFORE RUSH. The conference will end around 10:30am that morning so you'll have PLENTY of time to make it back and get dressed for RUSH Convocation.
- WHERE- this year we are going up to a camp north of Memphis, TN called "For The Kingdom." This is a nice, new camp just outside of town with brand new cabins. It's nowhere near as rustic as you might think.
- HOW MUCH- this year conference will cost $85.
- WHAT'S THERE TO DO- Saturday morning we'll have a list of seminars on various topics for you to sign up and take if you want. That afternoon there's a high element rope course, rock climbing wall, basketball, nature trails, or bring your books and you can study if you want. Most of all it's time with old friends and a chance to make new ones.
