This Week in RUF

RUF FIRST NIGHT

Well, it was a great first night at RUF last Wednesday night. I know it was really crowded, but the company was good so hopefully it made up for the slight discomfort. We have posted some pictures on the Pictures Page if you want to take a look at who made it on our first night. If you didn't make it, remember that our messages from RUF are always posted on our Resources Page as well as our Podcast on iTunes.

We had a great time over at The Beanland House after RUF. And we don't think that the Police are very upset at us either. So that's always a plus when you have a party for RUF. HA!

Thanks for making our first night really great. We are really looking forward to the upcoming year!

SMALL GROUPS

Yes, they are back. This semester, we have one slightly different twist on our small groups: "grade" small groups. That is, we have always had a Bible study especially for freshmen (Tuesday afternoons, Union 4th floor, 3:30p) and a Sophomore Bible study (Thursday afternoon, 4pm, location TBA). This year, we are adding on a Junior/Senior small group on Monday afternoons at 4pm (location TBA). This means that you'll be able to find a small group time for you no matter what your schedule is like. And don't forget, most of our Greek Bible studies are going to be back this Fall as well. Stay tuned for more news.

FALL CONFERENCE 08

This Fall, we are extremely excited to have as our speaker for Fall Conference the President of our denominational seminary, Brian Chappel. I know this name doesn't mean much to most of you, but trust me, it's a VERY big deal that we were blessed enough to have him come and be our conference speaker. So mark your calendars now for October 10-12, the weekend BEFORE RUSH this Fall.

You can get all the information you need about Fall Conference here including details and sign up forms. Make plans to attend!
